New functionality "Biometric Authentication" in mobile banking for secure online payments

All iBank clients can now take advantage of the new “Biometric Authentication” functionality in the Bank’s mobile banking to ensure secure online payments at a merchant. Using biometric data, such as fingerprint and/or facial recognition, clients can confirm their transactions online. For this purpose, the “Biometric Authentication” service should be activated in the Bank’s mobile banking. This will allow notifications to be received (push notification) on the client’s mobile device, which will take them to iBank Mobile to confirm online payments using biometric data.

In order to use the “Biometric Authentication” service in the Bank’s mobile banking iBank Mobile, notifications must be allowed from the application, and the option to use biometric authentication (facial recognition or fingerprint) to unlock and identify the client’s mobile device must be activated.

When activating the "Biometric Authentication" service for only one card, it will also be active for all other cards of the client associated with his profile.
