Investbank is once again the general partner of the competition for contemporary Bulgarian art MOST

On April 15, 2024, Investbank JSC and the Vivacom Art Hall Oborishte 5 gallery announced the start of the one-of-a-kind contest for Bulgarian contemporary art MOST. The initiative is being held for the seventh year in a row.

"We have been supporting this unique initiative for several years now, which over time has become a long-awaited event with its own distinctive identity and energy. Working with the creators is extremely inspiring, and the selection of finalists is becoming more and more challenging because the applications are more and more, but also better. They say that a picture is a poem without words, and I am happy that Investbank is once again contributing to more people "reading" and "hearing" art," said Maya Stancheva, executive director of the financial institution, during the opening.

"Let's stay in Bulgaria" is the slogan of this year's edition of the competition, added Denitsa Gergova, artistic director of the Vivacom Art Hall Oborishte 5 gallery, and specified that artists who had the opportunity to develop on a global scale will be sought. but have chosen to express themselves in the homeland.

MOST: THE PROJECT

The competition encourages innovation and gives an opportunity to popularize Bulgarian artists from the country and abroad, providing them with new opportunities for creative performances and professional realization at the local and international level. This is exactly what distinguishes MOST from all other art competitions so far in Bulgaria.

Traditionally, every year since the contest was held, over 200 Bulgarian artists send their works for participation, and over the years, MOST has managed to become an annual event with traditions, institutional support and internationally recognized mentors.

Conditions for participation in MOST:

1. An artist working in all spheres of contemporary art, residing on the territory of the country or abroad;

2. Completed education in arts or currently, a graduate of a school of fine arts is an advantage;

3. To have no arrangements with other private galleries at this time;

Fill out a form about yourself and attach a portfolio (15-20 photos: described, with title, size and year of creation, created in the last 3 years in digital format.) The form can be downloaded from HERE

Awards:

1.       Investbank, as a partner of the 5th, 6th and 7th editions of MOST, will determine its winner and work with him on the creation of various creative projects.

2.       2. Holding a joint exhibition of four finalists in the Salon Hall of the Vivacom Art Hall Oborishte 5 gallery, and each artist will present 5 pieces. own works. The evaluated authors will also be offered professional art marketing, which will work for their correct positioning on the Bulgarian and world art market. They will be actively promoted by the gallery within the event and meetings with collectors and discussions with art lovers will be organized for them.
