Pay online without passwords – just with your fingerprint and/or facial recognition
iBank’s service “Biometric Authentication” allows you to confirm your online transactions with merchants using biometric data such as fingerprint and/or facial recognition.
iBank’s biometric solution represents a whole new level of security and accessibility when shopping online and confirming online transactions.
How to activate the Biometric Authentication service:
Setting up the service is quick and easy via the iBank Mobile mobile application:
1. Log in to iBank Mobile;
2. Select any of the cards you own;
3. Select the MORE button in the upper right corner of the card;
4. On the screen that appears, click the “Biometric Authentication Registration” option and follow the steps to activate the service.
When activating the "Biometric Authentication" service for only one card, it will also be active for all your other cards associated with your account.
In order to use the "Biometric Authentication" service in the mobile banking of the Bank iBank Mobile, you must allow receiving notifications from the application, as well as have the option to use biometric authentication (facial recognition or fingerprint) to unlock and identify your device enabled.
The service works only on one mobile device, if you decide to register a new device for the "Biometric Authentication" service, the registration of the previous device will automatically be deactivated.
