Change in the functionality of the service 3D Card Protection

As of 18.01.2019 the functionality of the service “3D CARD PROTECTION” will be changed.
3-D Secure is functionality for secure online payments, which is offered jointly by Investbank JSC and the international card organizations Mastercard and Visa.
For each payment with an online merchant that supports the Verified by Visa/Mastercard SecureCode service, the customers will receive a free SMS with a one-time password, which has to be filled in in the designated field on their mobile phones.
The new operation mode of the service applies to all the clients who have submitted a valid mobile phone number in an office of the Bank.
The customers who have not submitted a mobile phone number by 18.01.2019 are possible to experience some difficulties when paying online, until updating in the information in the system of the Bank. In such cases it is necessary for the clients to visit an office of the Bank and register a mobile phone number.
The one-time password contains 6 digits and will be received from the number 184343. In the additional field, where the client is required to enter the one-time password, the following information is visualized:
- The payment code – 4 letter code
- The name of the merchant
- The amount
- The last 4 digits of the card number
- The last 4 digits of the mobile phone number
The service will be valid for all debit and credit cards of Investbank JSC.
Do not forget to inform the Bank when there is a change in the mobile phone number.
