Todor Todorov joined Ibank in April 2026 as Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Board. He is an accomplished professional with more than 20 years of international and executive experience in banking, corporate finance and strategic management, with proven expertise in delivering large-scale transformation, growth and organizational development projects.

His professional career began at the New York office of J.P. Morgan, where he worked on mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships and financial restructuring transactions. Upon returning to Bulgaria, he established and led the consumer finance division of Hebros Bank AD prior to its integration into the UniCredit Group.

He later joined Deloitte, where he led the Corporate Finance practice in Bulgaria and subsequently became a Partner for Central and Eastern Europe. Throughout his career, he has led and participated in more than 100 projects and corporate transactions with a combined value exceeding EUR 6 billion. Under his leadership, an international Deloitte team supported the Bulgarian National Bank in the implementation of the largest asset quality review project ever undertaken in the Bulgarian banking sector.

Prior to joining Ibank, Todor Todorov served as Executive Director of the National Guarantee Fund, Bulgaria’s leading institution for portfolio credit guarantees and a strategic partner of commercial banks in expanding access to financing for small and medium-sized enterprises.

Todor Todorov holds a Master’s degree in International Management and Finance from Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the American University in Bulgaria.
